The Daily Tar Heel

I joined The Daily Tar Heel during my freshman year at UNC as a staff writer for the University Desk. I was responsible for covering campus news that ranged from Black History Month to guest lectures with former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. I also worked for the Copy & Online desk. As a copyeditor, I was responsible for editing and proofreading stories, creating headlines and posting to Twitter and Facebook. I have included some of my work samples below.
