The Borgen Project

During the summer of 2019, I was a journalist intern for The Borgen Project. My primary responsibilities were reporting on global poverty and how Fortune 500 companies and new technologies can reduce poverty rates. All of my articles were written in AP Style, and I pitched original story ideas. I also helped the organization with fundraising, and I developed a social media outreach program, which resulted in over 100 new people accessing The Borgen Project’s website. I included some of my articles below, which were published in Borgen Magazine
